Noomi Eats

same brand, new store.

A ground-up rebuild of a gluten-free bakery's online store: calmer to browse, quicker to buy from, and built to rank for what people in the UAE actually search.

[ The brief ]

Great products, loyal customers, and a store that made buying harder than it should be.

The old site was busy: crowded sections, mixed messages and pages that looked the same. Some card payments failed at the payment page, and those buyers simply left.

Two years of Meta ads never covered their cost, so the new store had to earn traffic from Google instead. The founder's one rule: keep it calm and clean.

The real problemCustomers who wanted to order were getting lost, or getting stuck at the last step.
[ What I built ]

Same brand,
a better store

Kept everything customers already loved about Noomi. Rebuilt everything that got in their way.

01.

A custom theme, not a builder

Designed and approved as a static build first, then ported into a custom WordPress theme on a fresh install. The brand stays exactly Noomi: the teal and red, Poppins and Nunito Sans, real product photography.

  • Fast, lean pages with no page-builder markup
  • Calm layout with clear space, as the founder asked
  • Product data and past order history carried over from the old store

02.

A store that's easy to shop

Four clear categories (breads, treats, spreads, bundles), product cards you can add from directly, and a bundle option for first-time buyers. Every page repeats the delivery promise so nobody has to go looking for it.

  • Shop by category from the first screen
  • Product pages that answer ingredients, diet tags and delivery up front
  • A dedicated ordering and delivery page

03.

A checkout that doesn't lose people

The old payment page was where customers dropped off. The new checkout runs on PayTabs with cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and no cash on delivery. Reorders happen on the site, not in WhatsApp chats.

04.

SEO-first, Google-first

Category and product pages are built around real search demand in the UAE: gluten-free bread, banana bread and kunafa chocolate. Clean structure and schema so the store can rank, with Google Ads planned for the relaunch instead of Meta.
